Beautiful natural water garden with water lilies, lotus flowers and water plants and of course a rich aquatic life. A garden of water plants is easy and beautiful to have. All you need is ample clean fresh water and a natural soil suitable for a fertile living water garden. Clay is the best soil as i t seals the water and thus prevents loss of water.
Keep however in mind that a water garden also may present a danger do small children as kids may drown in even shallowest water.
Some of Cambodian lily ponds are just made for beauty and never for commercial harvesting of any kind. This water garden has a wide variety of different colored water lilies. Currently blossoming only are the lotus flowers. All the small round leaves you see however are all kinds of water lilies to blossom later in the year.
Water garden or lily ponds are an ideal place to relax, to meditate or to observe nature with its rich life forms around water. Hence a water garden also is ideal for children to play. If large enough a water garden such as the one here with more than one hectare in size, easily can handle children walking thru the water and observing aquatic life.
