After a few nervous moments yesterday when I almost missed meeting up with the judges I can now reveal (with much excitement) that we won a gold medal for our display. I'm really pleased for everyone involved; all the hard work has finally paid off.
Of course now that the medal's been awarded there's no stopping me; I've already got a great idea for next year!

Same mountain scenery as previous picture. View from beginning of Phnom Koulen road toward neighboring mountains. All remote mountains are mostly jungle covered.
Dry season scenery is nearly empty of life. Just on survival mode until next rainy season starts.

A river too warm for much life. Even though the river comes straight from the mountains, the water is already some 30 degrees Centigrade and thus far too warm to attract lots of fish life.
